Is yours an Auto gearbox? I have occasionally found that if I rush the park routine i.e slam it into P and immediately switch off and try to remove the key, it won't. I have to switch her on and move the gear lever from, and back to the park position to get the key out.

Yes mine's an auto, and that gear change trick is what I often resort to. D3 Bonatti Grey TDV6

Ditto here... I also find anooying the fact that I cannot get the key out while in Neutral... I don't remember that on any other Auto that I had...

Not being able to remove the key in Neutral is good ... When I had the previous compressor, I had perfeceted the nack of a quick "re-boot" while on the move ( long straight road ahead and no visible need to brake for a few seconds .. ) ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

A member of a US LR3 board brought this up a while back.
He wasn’t all too concerned about it but he mentioned it while getting other service done.
He was surprised when his entire transmission was replaced. Wa Hoo

Happens to me, HSE auto. I twist the key back and forth a little, then it's out. I thought I was just not turning it far enough or something, being in a hurry. Blue
