Tow Bar
Hi - Have searched high and low but cannot find the location of the tow bar in my second hand Disco 3
2006 (7 Seater) , could anyone point me in the right direction or could this have been removed prior to be purchasing, as looks like they are going for good money on used sites.

The removable towbar would normally be kept in the rear of the boot area on the passenger side, behind the access cover.
Do you have tow bar electrics behind the cover in the bumper?
If you are towing on a regular basis (anything heavy like a caravan, horse box etc.) I would recommend a fixed tow bar Admin on Facebook Discovery 3 & 4 Ownersgroup
Cambelt, Fuel Pump Belt, Oil Pump & Water pump replaced by Flack

They didn't come as standard and you are not the first owner so why do think one is hidden somewhere?Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

Its not standard equipment, so not guaranteed to be present.
Is it not stowed in one of the cubbies in the boot?
Do you have tow electrics behind the hatch on the rear bumper?
If not then its unlikely to have had one fitted, if yes and you still cant find it then it may well have been removed and sold separately if the car was being traded in?

Mine came with tow electrics but no tow bar... when I asked the dealer about it they said it wasn't there when they got it... I guess the previous owners sold it for the extra £150-£200 in their pockets :-pwhat is this life, if full of care?
