iPhone bluetooth music streaming

Apologies if this has been covered before.

I have my iphone 5 paired perfectly with my 14 MY HSE. All phone functions are a1.

However I want to stream my music via bluetooth.

When I go into "my music" then "source" i have the options including "bluetooth".

If I click on that it searches for my phone and then says "bluetooth audio is off, please enable bluetooth audio in settings"

I have surfed the menu system on the car and on the phone and I can't for the life of me find the setting to switch this on.

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Do you have an iPod or other device hardwired into the USB port of the car while you are trying to do this? If so, disconnect that device first, then Bluetooth music streaming should work from your iPhone.

Same car, same phone, similar problem.

Phone paired, finds the tracks on the phone via streaming, pop it up on the screen, yet no sound....

What could it be?

You have to ensure that the iPhoney bluetooth settings are set for phone and media use ...the head unit will then pick up the media Thumbs Up
