Car won't change gear, O/S brake light stuck on?

Hi all, I think I have an inkling this is a brake sensor switch fault but want to check with the experts.........half way home I noticed the car for no apparent reason wouldn't change up, had to put into sports mode to change gear to get home! Then the reflection behind in other cars I noticed the rear off side brake light was stuck on.......got home switched off and then put the ignition on without starting the engine, the front side lights then came on with the press of the brake pedal.....odd Shocked
Please help and if anyone has the LR part number so I can order that would be great Bow down
How easy is it to fit Whistle

Thanks all, it was dark so I replaced both bulbs and result, all fine and dandy Bow down
