Park Assist ECU

Hi

Whilst reading the fault codes on our disco individually due to a 'too much data to read error' when reading permanant faults, I got a permanant read error on the park assist ecu - all other ecu's had nothing showing in fault. Does anyone know where this is, and what it entails to replace it if it is fubared?

Kind regards

Jay

Its your epb module on top of the rear axle, very rare for them to fail totally but not unheard of. They are a pig to replace and cost a fortune.
You need to strip your rear brakes down and use Bodsy brake bible to set up your adjustments and pads on the rear.

Thanks Flack

Thats a bummer, as the park brake is working fine without any issues, noises etc. Another job to look into then.

One question, what causes the read error communication breakdown if it is the brakes and not the module?

Kind regards

Jay

Opps I think I have mislead you there the parking assist is the front or rear parking sensors not the epb, must read the posts proper lol.. you must have a sensor failing.
