Mrs mik's MY12 HSE
D3 Metropolis now sold. 2012 HSE replaces it - fantastic beast. Mrs mik is extremely happy, and its a great drive from my perspective too. Pictured with my VXR8 : Disco wins on torque. 8)

Do it.
Bit of a marmite car, but they are brimming over with character. Mostly due to that powerplant , but they have other strengths too 8)

Indeed.
Sold in the UK as a "VXR8" : essentially an HSV R8 Clubsport. Many ownders remove the Vauxhall badging and put the (correct) HSV badges back on.
Andy (Sarge 4x4) has one of the current supercharged VF models : further breathed on by Walkinshaw to liberate rather more horses. Somewhat quicker than mine.....2012 D4 HSE for her

At least you guys only have a short trip to Germany where you can give it a good run down the autobahn at speeds which, in Australia, will have us locked up and the keys thrown away.
Damn the 'nanny state' we live in
Enjoy Fuji White D4 2012. Reversing camera, E-diff, Hi-line sound, Xenon lights, ARB bullbar with Lightforce xenon lights and cargo barrier

Urban myth...
You do know, that in theory you can drive as fast as you can on german "Autobahnen", but practically almost 80% are regulated today. Street work, noise reduction and so on..... (officially told percentage!)
TBH, I cannot understand the discussion in Germany, to not have a speed limit. It's nonsense to think you can go fast.... Maybe on a new Autobahn on Sunday morning at four o'clock....
That's why I really don't bother to have speed limit on my new Disco... Cheers Patrick from Munich
