What have you had in yours?

We're in the process of moving house, so earlier today I put an armchair in the boot of the D3.

It got me wondering, what weird and wonderful loads people have moved in / with their D3 or D4.

I have seen some massive boats being towed on here, the event that stands out in my mind was shortly after I got it, I drove 400 miles with....

3 Kayacks on the roof, an entire bathroom suite bath, shower screen, toilet, sink, in the boot ( and luggage from a fortnights holiday) and a Jet Ski behind.

So, for a bit of fun, what have you moved with yours?

Helped the brother in law move a few weeks ago.

Got a 2 seater sofa in the back along with a 50inch TV (JUST) and a partially dismantled sideboard, all at the same time, and the boot shut!

He was a bit p'ed off as he'd already booked a van to turn up half an hour later and didn't need it but still had to pay the bloke.

That's an extreme way of getting the perfect picnic bench whenever you stop Shocked

Flatscreens, beds and sideboards are on tomorrows list, but there will just be the two adults in the car Thumbs Up

My entire life, when I moved units. So that would be large fridge, about 8 holdalls of kit, 1 Bergen, 2 sets of webbing, 3 daysacks, 40in tv, a multitude of electrical stuff, push bike and more tools than a Landy will ever need! Oh and some stuff for a mate. What a beast Fiona is Thumbs Up
 So far Fiona has:
TRC front winch bumper / GG AT tyres
Warrior 9500s winch / Aux Fuel tank
Mantec sump guard / Kaymar rear bumper w/swing away
RI D2 light pair / de-cat exhaust
RI 10in flood/spot bar / LR puddle lights
Optima yellow top / Prospeed tree/rock sliders
Spilt charge system / Light guards

I picked up a full height fridge/freezer from John Lewis for my boy, guy in the shop didn't believe me when I said just put it on a sack truck and wheel it out to the car park. Admittedly the two front seats were pretty much pushed forward and his girlfriend had to lie in the back along side the fridge but we got it back home without paying delivery charges Thumbs Up

I had a full king size divan in the back of mine last weekend. Moved it up to the parents caravan.

It took some doing, but it eventually fitted with the matress on the bottom and the base pieces on top of it.
30 minutes to persuade it in and less than a minute to get it out. Thumbs Up

My mum was convinced it wouldn't fit, but me and Da managed to force it in without too much damage.
Once it was in she then started bringing out duvets, toaster, kettle and all sorts of other Censored to take up too.

Camping 2014: x2 adults and x3 children in the first 2 rows, then... Kalihari-10 tent +porch, stove, gas bottles, pantry, food, duvets, pillows and inflatable beds, clothes, wind breaks, backpacks, beach toys, towels, rugs, x5 folding chairs, coolbox...and bat teddy.

It wasn't pretty (it was a bit better on the way there!) but it worked...
