I have just disabled 3 flash after having it enabled for 3 months reason is I find when I flash my headlights sometimes this also operates 3 flash, so to try and stop them I operate the indicators in the opposite direction, this leads to confusion and angers me.
This is personal thing and not a fault, if 3 flash is operated correctly they are good but for some unknown reason I seem to operate them in certain situations when I am driving, try as I may when practicing I don't do it, a little bit like making a typo It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

M3dpo are you sure your switches aren't worn. If you get a newer set, you'd probably notice a lot less play in them and you shouldn't get that problem. Unless you have webbed fingers and can't get to pull the switch properly Bodsys Brake Bible

Known issue on older stalks when well worn but they are easy to replace. Some prefer the look of the later stalks and have changed them for aesthetic reasons.

Can't honestly say there is any play in them, it only happens when I flash my lights in a hurry, as I say try as I can to make it happen stationary in practice and it dosn't, but it can be very embarrassing and causes confusion when the indicators start flashing when you are not turning. I think it is a personal preference.
And you can type faster than me
Thanks for the info, I will compare them with others, what exactly is changed? It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

We'll, ruling out webbed fingers as the cause (perhaps....?) then I posted up a how to change the steering switches somewhere.
Very easy to do. Bodsys Brake Bible

Also looking for 3 flash and other updates and on the Devon/Cornwall border - where is woody32 based? Perhaps we could arrange a Cornish update session?

I do not need the 3 flash indicator now as mine already has it lol! I would still like the software updates though.
Woody is based in Somerset.

I had the latest software installed by a local Indy with full Autologic kit and although the option for 3 flash and reverse lights follow me home lights have been set in the CCF neither work. I believe this is because the Autologic will only update to the LR approved software version for the car year whereas the Faultmate, etc will allow a newer, non LR supported, version of the software to be installed?
Is Woody or anybody else with the appropriate kit going to be in Devon or Cornwall any time soon?

That could be ideal - which updates are you able to offer? Presumably with a Faultmate pretty much everything?
Looking for 3 Flash, SNOTM, reverse follow me home lights and BT update - plus anything else recommended... can you PM with pricing please?
