| Detachable Tow Bar Limits?? |
|
Can anyone tell me the max weight i can tow with my detachable tow bar? I assume the old tin tent will not be a problem but I plan to be moving round bales of hay in the coming days with a combined weight (inc trailer) of about 2T

1500 Kgs, but LR advise for continuous use, to use the fixed towbar. and the removeable for occasional use.
although Ive used the same removable towbar for the last 8 years towing the twin axle caravan with no issues Duncan

The detachable ones are prone to wear if used regularly. Mine had alot of side to side movement so i swapped it for a fixed one. When i asked LR they suggested their own fixed one at about £400  I got a TT one off ebay Current: D3 TDV6 S; GGAT's, DIY 7inch Tablet mount, DIY Reversing Camera, Stage 1 remap, EGR delete
Previous: Freelander TD4, D2 V8, D1 TDI, Series 3 Petrol plus Numerous performance cars!
