Hi, very new to the forum. Taking delivery of two discovery 4 commercials towards the end of the year. They will bother require tow electrics. Am I right in thinking geoff/ wiggs are the people to talk to to get this done at a reasonable cost? I am based In berkshire....

I have a MY14 and have always moved my tow electrics between my cars. The "activated" bit is only necessary if you want the electrics to work with the reversing sensors. The town electrics will work perfectly well as soon as you fit them. It's about a 40 min job.
It's also cheaper to order the cars with the tow kit and electrics fitted. If you can include this in the spec, do it that way.PAGODA

Not true .. You have to select the type of towing electrics fitted .. Wether it be 13 pin or twin 7 pin .
You can also select wether one of the pins does fog lights / reverse lights or power
G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Apologies for the thread hijack, but should the rear parking sensors turn off when the electrics are in use?

Didn't select the tow hitch as an option as it seemed a lot for the heavy duty hitch and I already have a bar and hitch to move from my existing d3 commercial. So just require the electrics for one of them and the enabling. Assuming I get the tow electrics enabled after I self install I guess this is a good time to get the timed cabin pre heat switched on as again this seemed an expensive option for something the car is equipped with!

Thanks Wiggs, fitted by my Land Rover dealer so I guess they should have been enabled.

There's Brink/Thule kits on the bay for £369, I think this is cheaper but will it be ok ?
