Well that's a first!
Just had my renewal in from Privilege, £226.84, tried an on line quote as its alweays cheaper being a new customer isn't it!
Well not this time, exactly the same details and actually bringing it down from 15 to 13,000 miles a year with same cover, fully comp, protected no claims, legal protection ........ £285
Have left details with A Plan and Annetts and Orchard (who are very very good for an off roader insurance, especially if you havent built up any no claims) to get back to me to see what they can do.Joined the BMWX5 45e group

On the Privilege quote system try changing the voluntary excess & see if it makes a difference. Mine made no difference on SWMBO's car whether £500 or £0 voluntary excess. Needless to say went for the latter.
