Overnight parking south of Bristol
Hi,
We will be traveling down from Nottinghamshire to Woolacombe in a couple of weeks with the caravan.
I will probably be setting off about 9pm on the Thursday night as to miss most of the Friday traffic and hoping to get past Bristol before parking up for the night.
Can anyone recommend a spot to park up?2006 SE. Java Black.

The obvious one is Gordano services, but remember to pay
Or if you're really nice, you could park on DiscoDunc's drive

By the time you get south of Bristol, Woolacombe is just round the corner
I can't think of anywhere that instantly springs to mind other than Gordano Services as per the other post. If I find somewhere I will post up.

I can have a look around Weston and Clevedon if you like (jct 21 & 20) - but I think you may as well push on to your destination if you make it as far as Bristol
+1 for Gordano as well, but the 'pay' thing is a problem of courseIggy/Ieuan

If your going down as far as junct 27 carry on a few more miles down to junct 28 and come off their to cullompton services- normally quite quiet on a friday night....only prob is the train line that runs down side of lorry park - park motorway side of the parking. The first time we parked their it was dark and didnt realise their was a train line 4m behind the van- will let you decide what our reactions were as a train went by at full lick just as we had drifted off! Oh and dont forget the parking ticket. We will be their soon.

This one is south of Bristol and will give you the edge on most of the Friday traffic
