MY12 loss of power to IPod and USB sockets

I have an old IPod which I leave connected into the Ipod socket permenantly and I have been using the USB to charge my IPhone which has been working just fine.

This morning when I came out IPod wouldn't connect so I tried new leads and still nothing, not even the small charging icon came on on the IPod. So then I tried IPhone in the IPod socket, same result, absolutely nothing. I thin put the IPhone back in the USB connection and again the charging icon failed to come on.

Having tred different leads and different apple products I have to assume I have lost power and connection so both sockets, nothing has been taken apart at all since it was built so not a reassembly error.

Is there a common power supply or fuse somewhere? What else might be common, anything simple before I trek back to the dealer?

Mine did the same

Easy fix....

Remove cup holders and loosen the one screw to remove the plastic bit under the cup holders.

There is a (IIRC) grey plug. Unplug, clean and connect again.

Mine is now all sorted
