Inner tie rods - what tool?
On a pre 9Axxxx D3 what tool will I need to loosen the inner tie rod from the rack? Also how tight does it have to be torqued back up to - can't find it anywhere in the manual...2006 TDV6 HSE Wrapped Matt Black STOLEN NOT RECOVERED

I use a big pair of stilsons. Torque is supposed to be 100nm but just tight with stilsons has been fine for me. Bodsys Brake Bible

A pair of stilsons is technically one stilson.
A strap wrench may do it, but if don't think so as it's on pretty tight and the radius isn't that big so the leverage isn't high.

Regarding unscrewing/tighten the inner tie rod end , is there any risk of destroying the rack itself?
