A question for any ROW experts

Did the NERC act remove motorised vehicular rights from Ratione Tenure (RT) routes? We have one locally which is also a bridleway but is used as access by some of the local villagers.

There might be an argument about to start about the threat of a gate being locked. Does the public right for vehicular use still exist or did it get extinguished?

Sorry don't know the answer to your question but why not drop your ROW officer at your local council an email, they are usually quite helpful and can give you a definite answer Thumbs Up

By no means a RoW expert, but in 2007, post NERC, the status of RT routes in the YDNP was still being argued about, so rights cannot have been automatically extinguished.
