Basically we were approached to test this kit out. Its still undergoing trials, we are also looking into other enhancement options
Here we see a picture of some secret testing using hippo fart power to boost performance in Sand mode. However this system is a bit more difficult to engage. As you can see the driver simply pulls the yellow rope, this lifts the tail, the tail touches the auto light trigger on the match, the match lights, the co-driver punches the hippo in the belly, the hippo farts and hey presto Hipposand mode. As you can imagine there are a few teething problems with this mod. The main one being an enraged hippo with its bum on fire in the back of a D3 having just been punched in the belly.

I feel you will run into problems with hipposand, surely the match will cause much black smoke and is likley to make you unpopular with ecomentalists, not to mention the hippo. Maybe by mounting the hippo in another position you will reach a more satisfactory conclusion DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

A very interesting point Pelyma ... I was also concerned about the weight and the performance trade-off. A back-to-back (?) test is obviously needed.D3 HSE V8...

There is a specie called the pygmy hippo that could cut down on weight/space but it will have a correspondingly lower calorific value to its farts, they would be easier to strap on the roof rather than take up boot space. Strap ons do have the disadvantage that other motorists can see your hidden power reservesDS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
