After its service on Monday my D4 decided that its battery was time for a rest and died today. A quick call to LR Assist - excellent by the way, arrived within 20 mins and a very professional service from a genuine LR enthusiast - saw the battery given the last rights.
Popped down to Halfrauds and purchased one of these Vuasa batteries this evening :-

£99 with trade card discount and 5yr can't be bad for that money They don't do Bosch batteries anymore (well not in the branch near me anyway) and this make are Japanese and and involved with Honda so although Ive never heard of them, they hopefully will be ok ...

purely because it was dry cell and my D4 is sat around a lot... time will tell. cheers,
