I'VE DEVELOPED ANOTHER FUEL LEAK
I wondered if any of you have came across the same problem?
I can smell fuel from the left side of my engine (As you look from the front) and although I've had my head in there I can't find anything
Only started about 2 days ago and although the area around the injector rail appears a little bit damp there is no fuel visible on the engine around that area or fuel leaking on to the chassis etc. Took it in to my mates garage today and he agreed it smelt of fuel but on inspection (A quick one) he couldn't identify any leak although he did say that sometime a little rubber grommet at the end of the rail tends to perish on them but won't know for sure until I can book it in.
Just wondered if anyone had the same problem at some point or any ideas what I may be?
Cheers guys "Your mind is like a parachute! It will only function when open"!

Driving up to the lakes today and stopped at traffic lights when I see steam coming from Bonnet (It had been raining and the sun came out) or so I thought! "HOLD ON THATS NOT F@@KING STEAM" it was smoke!!! Lucky we where beside a garage so pulled over and popped the bonnet. Found a small rubber fuel pipe next to the lead injected was almost out of the plastic pipe connector . Managed to get it back in again and cable tie it securely in place. Problem solved "Your mind is like a parachute! It will only function when open"!

on the plus side diesel works well as a parts cleaner so the engine should be clean GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics
