Another suspension issue even with AMK compressor!!!

So after swapping my compressor 2 months ago I've had a pretty happy trouble free few months of happy Disco ownership.....until now.

Fault code C1A20 pressure raises slowly when filling the reservoir.

Also I've had C1331 - Air supply

The car is dropped to the bottom even though the 4x4 display says standard. If I clear the fault (iid2) then start the engine up the compressor can be heard but after a minute or less the dreaded bong appears and the compressor cuts out.

As it says the compressor is 2 months old and had been working perfectly well. I towed my race car for about 5 hours and parked it up, the next day went to drive off and it happened. And now just will not go away.

I've read there my be something (wiring/sensor) in the NSF wheel arch that causes common faults?

Before I drop kick my car can somebody shed any light?

Thanks.

Rusty air reservoir, causing it to leak and not build up enough pressure, hence the slow filling reservoir fault Thumbs Up

I'm assuming the reservoir is a part of the compressor?

If so, I'd be rather disappointed that a 2 month old compressor would be dead already.

Just been out and sprayed the tank with soapy water and I can't seem to see any air leaks. And out of the last 5 times I've cleared the faults and restarted it's coming back with

Code C1131- air supply.

Any ideas?

Do love a good air supply!

However, i forgot to mention that in my button bashing on the IId tool I may of emptied the reservoir so I guess finding a leak on it now is nigh on impossible!

If it is the tank, there's some information here, was the system charged when you checked the tank for leaks?

Well it was charged as much as the compressor running up 4-5 times for approx 30 second periods. So I would guess not really!

Managed to pick up a used resevoir off eBay for a decent price so see if that fixes things.

Nowhere seams to sell the reservoirs new, any ideas on where I can source a new one?

Success!!!!

After swapping the reservoirs over and still the same fault I decided to investigate the compressor properly.

It was immediately apparant what the issue was. One of the banjo'do pipes had popped out of it's casing. Quickly nipped it back up again and no faults!

Although I did cash out £60 for a second hand reservoir I feel it was worth it as the one I took off my car is disgusting. And if it wasn't on its last legs it wouldn't of been long before it was!

So all in all I'm a happy boy again!

Thanks for the help
