Electrical gremlins

For the last while, I have been nursing, what I thought, was a dying key. Keep meaning to order a new one from Nick, but has been low on the list of priorities. Not now he is leaving though Shocked Big Cry

More often than not, it would only work on the first press of the unlock button (i.e, only unlock the drivers door, the 2nd press wouldnt work to unlock the rest of the doors)

Occasionally, it wouldn't work at all, requiring the manual lock to be used, setting the alarm etc off.

So, was parked up for a week at the airport. Came back expecting a battle, key worked on both presses, and has worked fine ever since Laughing

I wonder if it thought it was in the bad books? Whistle

Electric Gremlins ... x2 Laughing

Since the map lights have been sorted the clock changed itself back by an hour... Rolling Eyes

Then the clock on dash and stereo showed different times the day after ...

Both manually adjusted ... seems ok Very Happy

Finally the Sat Nav 'Land Rover' screen and stereo screens stayed on for 5 mins the other night after locking but never since ....

Weird .... Snigger

electrics on mine is mental. Radio stays on, sat nav stays on, sat nav has no sound, key fob doesnt work, then works........

Hard re-set cures most things to be fair. I too though was worried my key fob was on its way out. Especially as we only have the one key for it. I do think we should get a second at some point.
