can anyone help please

sorry to be a pain but my discovery 3 starts first time but if i give it a little rev it dies down and cuts out but when its warmed up a little it runs perfect. its just the initial start up. can anyone help me please. this started today when i set off to work and after it had stood all day and i started it to go home. any advice would be great thanks

to be honest ive only had it three months and the dealer said he serviced it before i bought it. it came with fsh. would it not stall all the time if it was the fuel filter tho and not just when its cold. its seems to be one thing after the other with this bloody car
