A big hammer?
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

have put a short clip on Google here
http://video.google.com.au/videoplay?docid=-416128813418158724
quality is degraded after uploading and sound isn't so good but you can hear the glove box rattle. how long do you think it would take to irritate you Sad

Try paving your driveway. That will smooth it out a bit and stop the rattle.

With roads & scenery like that I'd put up with the rattle. Mind you, sounded more like your teeth! Not got the dentures on the dash beside you??? Wink Shocked Shocked Laughing

CW,

My manuals and a few bolts and fuses sit in the upper glove box and I have to push them in hard to get them to fit. Maybe if you fill it up tightly it will stop rattling Wink Just an idea.

Otherwise we'll need to chip in to get the straigh jacket for you.

I keep sunnies, radios and other stuff I access regularly although I might fill it with foam next time. the holes in the plastic (not the ones on the lid) have become elongated, so some minor surgery me thinks.
