Hi Braduk,
Because of wear on the inner edge I was going to advise to use them as a spare.
As to your other question, I'm not sure of wear rates.
A new tyre has about 7-8mm of tread and lasts about 20,000 miles?
A tyre is legal until 1.6mm (although you probably wouldn't want to run them that low).
So say 6mm of useable tread divided by 20,000
Equals 3,333 miles per mm of tread.
Someone in the wheel/tyre section will probably give you a more representative breakdown.

I'm fairly sure they're sold.
5mm ones are being picked up on Wednesday.
The new ones, next week.
If anything changes I'll let you know.
