My new order

Got the letter today, confirming my new order and reg number, as well as thanking me for my custom. Very nice.

But then the sell, would I be interested in some stuff done during the PDI that protects the exterior and interior, for 400 notes.

Anyone else got this and do you think it is worthwhile?

I already accept that the car, as the family wagon, will have a very hard life and hopefully will stay with us for many years, so I am not too worried about resale value.

Yes it is worth is but you can get it cheaper. Tell them you're interested but not at that price

My dealer initially wanted £375 +VAT, I raised my eyebrows and he instantly dropped to £275 inc VAT. Along with some of the other stuff I got thrown in it probably cost me less than £200 in the end.

You could get the kit and apply it yourself but if the dealer applies it you're covered by the suppliers warranty, which maybe useless but hopefully not

The stuff I've got on my D3 is Diamondbrite by Jewelultra. I'm very pleased with it, makes cleaning the D3 an easy job and seems to protect it well. I got this kit with it which retails at £50 so that accounts for some of the money

I personally would have had this treatment too but think it was not available through the dealer when I ordered... also my car was rushed out to me and PDI'd so I could have it Xmas eve and not have to wait two weeks till after the New Year... couldn't wait to sit in her !
