BAE Systems D3
Seen a Black BAE SYstems logoed D3 this morning.....registration plate looks like it was previously on another discovery.
Winch, Lights and Rack on it ......plus a few aerials on the roof.........

quite likely. When I used to work at Woodford Airfield, most BAe vehicles were Rover, and airside was almost exclusively Land Rovers Defenders of various descriptions. So its quite possible that it was an airfield support/security vehicle.

I have to survey the tanks at BAE Woodford next week, I am not allowed to take a camera on site so the reports will be a bit thin. I was thinking of employing a local artist to paint pictures of the problems but that may take to long.In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You must give me a call if you have time, I live extremely close to Woodford. Are you staying local?

When you know, PM me, I'm only a couple of miles up the road from Gareth depending on the day, a beer in a northern pub (NOT one of Gareth's namby-pamby wine bars in Bramhall ) might be in order! Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
