| Watch out for this discovery on eBay as it's a Cat D |

Was going to look at this discovery this week, but when doing a hpi check it come out as a cat D, damaged and repairable but insurer decided not to repair.

Yeh I was thinking the same, but as is only 20 mins from me I thought it was worth a look, luckily I get hpi check for free, so at least it didn't cost me anything

I saved a chap at work a whole pile of heartache last week by insisting he HPI a car he was part-exing against. Yeah, financed to the gills despite the seller insisting he had paid cash for it and was trading down as he had a new baby to cart around.
No, he was a thieving twonk who wanted a car with clear title in exchange for his financially maxed out Audi TT so he could bounce it for the cash and do a runner.
I don't have to buy any drinks at the pub over the road from the office for the next few weeks I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I do a hpi check before every car I view, lucky I get them free as I have done a lot lol
Does save you in the long run though! Seller never replied when I said I wasn't coming for this reason, but I knew they wouldn't!
