Hi all, just a big thank you to Bodsey for the info on changing the EPB and setting up the system, went like clockwork.
Now has any one had a Remap done, to up the power, on a 2.7 D3, thinking of it but don't know if its any good, are there any problems doing this.

had my td5 done by gary at alive tuning service was amazing. So i took my Disco 3 tdv6 straight there any now it shifts down the road and is better on diesel. He even has a rolling road if you want a real before and after. Give Alivea call they are in Grimsby

Just done a BAS remap on my G4 D3 and very happy with the performance results 
Not run it long enough yet to comment of economy.
Can say the service was great and the remap interface allows me to switch between tuned remap and the factory spec if ever required. Highly recommended.

Ive had mine done at Alive by Gary and she flies, no flat spots, auto box is sweet and better MPG.
I have also changed to polybush, silicon hoses and will be upgrading to a full Alive exhaust when I solve the clunk when driving. 2006 HSE Java Black, de-egr, New turbo and Extremely ALIVE now

I had the autologic one and was very happy. If you could drive at the same speed it did improve the economy quite noticably, however having a bit more fun it remained aout the same as previously.
I would check with your insurer about what you can do without having to pay more. With Privilige you are allowed a certain % more (25% more rings a bell) before being charged extra, the Autologic came in just under so did not incur extra premiums, but they will all be different. Joined the BMWX5 45e group
