Xenon headlights - lowering/adjusting
Just switched to new 2014 HSE Lux - from 2010 XS and been smiling ever since.
Among other things, the Xenon headlights are just amazing - they light up everything in front like daylight. But I did notice they sometimes seem to be dazzling oncoming traffic and on some occasions cars flashing me - just wondering if it is possible to lower the beam - similar to the way in some cars it can be done - especially when carrying heavy load in the back (I have found this on the interior view of the LR Discovery configurator - you can clearly see an adjuster on the right side of the steering wheel next to the dashboard light adjuster - but mine has not got it....) - What do you guys reckon?

Usually the self levelling air suspension does that, so once adjusted correctly on the level, the lights will always stay the same as the suspension compensates for any weight differences.

Headlamps are self levelling by the fact the air suspension holds the car at the same level irrespective of load. Xenon lamps by law must be self levelling. If the headlamps themselves are not set properly they are adjustable for aim the same as any other vehicle. If you believe they are out of alignment, I suggest you take it back to the dealer.
