Draper Pressure Guage

Analogue, flexible hose, air release valve, up to 100psi - reviews not too shabby either

We use one of these for the race cars, handy as we overinflate them before when on the compressor then let them down at the meeting with the release valve, saves me lots of foot pumping... Which leaves more time for polishing Big Cry

Yup came this morning - nice piece of kit. The 'live' bleed makes it simple to accurately deflate to the required pressure.

I bought one for my race bikes and general use:

Positives

1. Nice and flexible allowing you to get to hard to reach valves.

2. Being able to view/control the pressure as you release the air.

Negatives

1. After a couple of uses, the indicator needle refused to stick and fell back to zero as soon as you released the gauge from the valve. (Answer - read the pressure and adjust without taking the gauge off the tyre Whistle rather than letting it ruin your life as per some comments on Amazon Rolling Eyes )

Overall a good piece of kit for the money and I'd recommend it. Thumbs Up

Hmmm, it looses accuracy/fidelity due to the overly large pressure range and the nozzle has to be held against the valve rather than latching on. Otherwise it is the form factor I prefer (analog dial with hose) but these 2 negatives mean there are better options out there for me.

What are you worried about? after photographing it, it would only stay in a tool drawer anyway as your purified nitrogen filled tyres wouldn't have any use for it Rolling with laughter

So if it loses fidelity I guess you have the concern about infidelity, oh yes I see what you mean now, but you do realise its push on not screw Laughing

It may lose accuracy but all things will and should be calibrated on a regular basis. I would think repeatability would be maintained much further through it's life.

Mine arrived a few days ago. I've not tried it yet, but it looks fine. Thanks for the tip off.
