OK, so the Transfer Case on my HSE has been leaking of late. It looks like the oil drain plug came loose, no problem.
But now I need to drain and re-fill the transfer case, and GTR just lists the recommended oil as "Shell TF 0753".
Here's the rub: No one seems to have ever heard of this crap. All the auto parts places, even Shell's website doesn't have it. Google came up with nothing except a document in German stating that it was the right oil for a Disco 3.
Does anyone know what this oil is? If I can get the specs I am sure I can find something like it here in San Diego.
Thanks everyone!

Way past warranty my friend... this car gets used a lot. I perform most of the work on it myself these days.
If the dealer was open today, I would just call them and ask what to put in it, but they are not.

All I can find on the Shell web site is Shell Donax TF at the following path in their UK product catalogue :
Class >> Shell lubricants >> Transmission & gear oils >> Automatic transmission fluids
Not sure if this is any help ???

Well, after making lots of phone calls, it seems that this oil is pretty rare in the States.
Land Rover carries it in the Dealership as part number LRN0753. The bottles have Land Rover labels on them that just say "Steryr 2 Speed Transfer Case Oil" or something like that. They gave them to me at a "discount" of 13 bucks a quart.
