iPhone 5s query

Hi folks just bought my disco three, simple question, do I have to enter the pairing code everytime I enter the vehicle to enable the phone system to link, or am I just being a bit of a dummy here! Cheers in advance.

You shouldn't have to enter the code each time, I certainly don't.
Are you having to use the code 0000 or 2121 ?

It could be that you need the bluetooth module updating.

Probably need software update on the Bluetooth module .( only applies to pairing 2121... 0000 can't be updated )

I suspect you won't see any contacts on the radio display either.

Software update will cure pairing issue and allow contacts to show on radio screen G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Thanks for the welcome folks. I'm using the code 2121. As I said before I can be a bit of a Dummy over these things, could you take take me through a step-by-step Bluetooth module update procedure.many thanks, Steve

Just trying to be helpful and let you know my iphone 5s works perfectly with the D3 without sync each time. SIRI works as well to dial numbers hand free.

To need diagnostic equiptment to reflash the software

digitaljunior.. You have 2008my which had different Bluetooth software to the original poster (2007) G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

My 2006 works fine on factory BT but doesn't sync. Siri does work well but you are touching the phone which I believe is still technically illegal, the iOS8 option of Hey Siri is hands free but the phone needs to be plugged into a power source. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
