Just been loading up and equipping our new caravan. We are taking it Coniston at Easter.
Its incredible the amount of junk you accumulate in a caravan. We unloaded our old Elddis into boxes and just got round to unboxing it into the new 'van. Lots of stuff getting chucked away because the new van is smaller than the last.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you Gareth. We're going to the CC site at Coniston. It'll be our first holiday in a caravan and the furthest I've towed it! Can't wait Bri

Not yet, but I weighed everything that we put in, including the awning, and it came to 120kg with 2 new 6kg propane bottles.
So with the plated MTPLM upped to 1500 max, I have used almost half my allowed payload with basic equipment. By the time we have put in all our normal paraphernalia for going on holiday with clothes and supplies etc, we will be near the max allowed, so yes I will check the nose weight.

That's not fair - nice & sunny here in north Notts - forecast to tip it down this afternoon, just wish I was waking up in our tin tent this morning. Got to wait until next weekend to get our tin tent out again.
Hope it brightens up for you 8) 8)

Having a busman's holiday in our new tin tent. Staying at Wareham Forest Tourist Park. Very nice park. Relaxing with a beer, hoping the heating works in our new van, as supposed to be the coldest night of the winter so far tonight. Rich
