Interesting stuff but I hope they improve Glympse before it is available on JLR as it is pretty crap at the moment Cheers Ian

Interesting that one of the partners is Sygic GPS Navigation which stores the maps on your 'phone.
My experience of Sygic suggest that maps are about 12 months out of date - but that's much better than JLR.
An alternative to the standard JLR offering must be beneficial - a shame that InControl Apps won't be available pre 2014 cars.

I read the list of things that it would lint to and though "Never hear of any of that stuff at all." So I'm glad not available for earlier models - one less distraction. Is there any news of them being available for the Discovery.
According to the Land Rover website they are only available for the Range Rover cars.

If you search 'Land Rover' you can have the app now .... on the 'App Store'
Appreciate its not for the Discovery... but has any enquired as to a possible mod
Land Rover Web Site says -
The Remote Smartphone App lets you prepare for a trip by checking fuel levels and range remotely.
You can find your vehicle in a crowded car park and you can check to make sure you locked your vehicle and closed the windows.
You can also download your journeys to assist in claiming business mileage expenses.

Think you'll find the LR app is designed to work with vehicles fitted with 'In-Control' which won't be available on Discovery until 2015MY and can't be retrofitted.
