2006 TDV6 Transmission pipe leak need advice
Dear all, I found my D3 has a minor leakage in the transmission pipe, at the point where it is connected to the radiator at the front. Its not actually dripping. E.g. after running, it is dry, after idle overnight, check it in the morning it is wet, but not dripping. It ran 110,000 km now. Should I replace the pipe and tranismission fluid ? Thanks.

Trans flid or water leak?
Water would evaporate when hot.
ATF would stay wet when hot.“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

The pipe on the D3 is just push fit with a hose clip, does the clip just need to be tightened or a new hose clip?
As long as the engine is not running very little will come out of the pipe but if it is the lower pipe the oil cooler will empty when you take the pipe off.
at your KMs I would suggest a full oil change anyway. Flush would be better if you have someone that can helpPaul Redding

Thanks for your advice Boringoldit. I think it is the upper one that attached to the radiator. Open the bonnet immediately in front of me.
After running the car, the joint (with new hose clip already) is dry (because of heat?)
But after cool down the area around the joint is wet (not dripping but like osmosis).
I am thinking to replace the transmission fluid like you said it is time to do so. So the choice would be the gearbox sump kit?(metal replacement of old plastic one)?
Where is the other end of that pipe? I can't see it...>_<

For clarity, the uppermost transmission oil line is not at the top of the radiator it is about a 3rd of the way down on the left hand side. The 2nd oil line is also on the left, near the bottom of the radiator. The other pipes are for the coolant with the expansion plumbing running across the top.

So what is the fluid coming out from this point? ZF6HP or coolant ?
I am worrying if it is ZF6HP, and I have no way to check the fluid level (no dip stick), the gearbox may burn when the fluid is going lesser and lesser.

transmission oil - which is cooled at the radiator.
The transmission oil level is 'fill to spill' via the fill port with gearbox temperature between 30 deg C and 50 deg C.
