I'm pretty sure I need to replace my front wheel bearings. Symptoms are excessive wear on outer edges of front tyres (despite correct wheel alignment), some increased road noise some of which can be felt through steering wheel when turning, some wailing when at speed.
Seeing as the rear bearings did the same mileage as the fronts, am I correct in thinking they're close to self destruction too, although they are not exhibiting any symptoms yet?
I need to get the hub carrier bushes replaced on both rear knuckles too so, in view of this, does it make sense to get the bearings replaced too and avoid having to take everything apart again or am I just wasting money, and the rears will probably live another couple of years? Dennis
