Hi again,
Still looking for my D3.....
How much should I expect to pay for servicing based on 10k/year from new over a 3 year period?
Do the dealership network have fixed price/menu pricing for servicing?
Also do dealers offer usual dealership facilities - pick up, courtesy car, wash and vac etc?
(We will probably try Lakeland LR or possible Edwards at Brock, as similar distance from home)
If this has been answered elsewhere please point me to the post as couldn't find it when searching?
many thanks
JC

use search but do "service + cost"
also try the section Dealership Feedback.
Not all dealerships offer the same service nor at the same price. You need to shop around i'm afraid. Just avoid Stra%^ones dealerships as they are IMHO rip off merchants who are more interested in the money that you hand over, rather than what they do for it.
My local dealer are rubbish - part manager doesn't know a D3 can have a raised air intake, Service Guys have a take it or leave it attitude and the technicians ain't any better. I travel about 20 mile to another city, where i get treated like a person, they loan you a reasonable courtesy car (i'm getting the Service Managers D3 next time) and the price is OK (price match).
Service intervals are 15k/12 months and i paid just shy of £300 about a month ago.
