When accelerating up a hill at about 60 mph the engine (2005 TDV6) suddenly lost all power and I was forced to go the hard shoulder, the engine remained running at tick over, but would not pull away when I pressed the accelerator. I Switched off the engine and then restarted a minute later and all was well.
I have removed the EGR valves / pipes and blanked off about 4 months ago. also cleaned the MAP sensor and MAF (in air filter) sensor.
Everything is running as it should at the moment but no doubt the problem will reoccur.
Any ideas what the problem is likely to be ?
