Just thought I'd let people know my fault with my parking brake.
After the orange light came on the epb stopped working.
On investigation we found that there are two wires feeding the epb module (up near the spare wheel) to be corroded away only leaving the outer pvc insulation remaining.
You can still buy 2 wires from Landrover as it was a recall a number of years ago, but you can't get the plug from them.
It then fixed my fault, be careful as the plug is very brittle. Disco 3 has arrived, 2005 HSE

Any chance of the part number for the repair wires (to help others)? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Hi, yes ill dig it out for you all.
But now the fault has come up again.
No communication to handbrake module is the fault so that may be premature.
We are busy testing out the can wires now.
Positive and negative are ok so its looking like a failed module.
Can anyone on here supply new genuine parts?
