D4 MY14 hard reset

D4 MY14 hard reset

I tried to hard reset my MY14 Disco, diconnected the battery and then short circuited the two vehicle cables. Tried that for 10min and one more time for 30mins. I expect the trip computer values etc to be reset to 0 if that's succesful, but were not.
Does the hard reset procedure remain the same for the MY14? Am I doing something wrong?

There is and I wouldn't mess around with this hard reset - if you look at the wiring stuff which links all the stop start, I wouldn't want to short that Mike

OMG, those toys are getting very complex!!! Rolling Eyes I'm just trying to fix my climate recirculation flap... Sad
So, is there some way to hard reset?
