Hi all.
Just a question from a Dutch "cheesehead".
On a regular base I take out my "Deedrie" offroading in Belgium with my dear friends form the Freelander Club Belgium.
In preparation I always take off the front bash plate( I hope this is the right name for it since English is not my native language)
The towing ring as normally behind the bashplate so you don't wanna do this when you're stuck in the mud.
I was wondering if anyone knows if there are metal front bash plates in the aftermarket. And in addition, these plates need te leave the towing ring free so I won't have to detach it every time.

Well, something like that , yes. I see this is a complete plate from front to back, incl gear box.
Normally there are 3 plates I believe.
I meant the small plastic one at the front.
Today we were at the 4x4 holiday fair in the Netherlands and the guy tried to sell me something from front to rear for about €1500. Well, that is not really what I had in mind.
Basically, I only want the front part.
Hopefully I can find something at the Landrover Owners show in Peterborough in September.Discovery 3 HSE
