Throttle pedal adjustment?

Is there adjustment to give some free play on the throttle pedal? Unable to look due to lack of space in garage and horizontal rain outside. Has had a remap before I got it but pedal is very sensitive and I can only get a smooth gear change (manual) by lifting foot fully off the pedal. May be my big feet or need to get use to it but having to remove foot completely off the pedal seems a bit much. A small amount of free play should sort my problem.

Do you get a thump as you lift the clutch pedal, and the clutch bites again?
The manuals can be difficult to drive smoothly, but a worn DMF/clutch can cause similar problems

As for the the pedal, there is no adjustment

Yip that's what happens. Thought it was something in the drive train but if take my foot completely of the throttle its fine. Call it a third sense but half way through the gear change you know its going to bang. Embarassed Will just have to get use to lifting foot away from the pedal or try it with slippers on.

It could be the prop centre bearing has disintegrated. Becoming more common on the earlier models

Prop bearing rubber was cracked at the top but gave it the stikoflex treatment when I got it about a month ago Whistle . Will look in the morning. Still think the throttle is the problem as even resting your foot against it sends the revs skywards. Weak spring inside or return spring weak although no problem with revs returning to tick over.
