Any "must have" options, when ordering a 14MY replacement for my Discovery 4GS?

Depends on you really.
I personally went for Privacy Glass and full size spare.
The full size spare as its only £185 and is cheaper than having to buy a complete new wheel if one gets damaged and the privacy glass to try and shield the kids in the summer when all that lovely sun shining in the huge windows.
I went for the XS model to get the leather interior as well so that it's easier to wipe when the kids spill things all over the seats.

On the HSE, privacy glass, full size spare, heated steering wheel and the towpack. Ticks all my boxes
Mine came with the rear view camera which would be another option I'd spec.

My wife said I wasn't allowed it and it wasn't essential...although upset, man up was also mentioned and I had to agree. Mike

Don't think you can spec rear camera on GS, mine which was a Demo so I did not order has Bi-Xenos, timed climate, upgraded Hi-Fi, heated front screen, fog lights, metallic, full size spare, full size touch screen, auto lights- windscreen wiper,
I have now put rear camera in (mainly for back up to trailers) fixed tow bar, Tacho, remote climate, centre cool box, and rear tinted glass.
It's brill, I have everything I need it's base model to the VAT/Tax man, I really thought i'd miss the sunroof and electric/leather heated seats, only thing I really miss is the armrest, but the ride, power, gearbox and general massive improvement over a D3 as well as about 25% better fuel consumption out ways that.
certainly do not miss the feet washing system on the D3!!!!!!!
