Just TurboChipped! Awesome
Hi just thought I'd give you my view on TurboChip just had it done by Alistair and can't believe how much better it makes the car. The pick up is much better and the dangerous hesitation when pulling away has now gone. Got indiicated 122 on tarmac as well! Thanks TurboChip have used DMS Automotive for a few years but I'm now a converted fan of yours. Cheers

Certainly was DSL
However i think the kids and the hounds in the boot were also thinking WTF as i launched the car downwards the videos don't do the drop justice.
Nick - I don't think it causes any issues with the dealers, as they tend to over-write the software when they service your car - however i'm sure TFC or LR Tuning will be along with there expert opinions soon.
TBH if what TFC says about Torq-Tune is true and it "feels" as good as the "blurb" (sorry 10 ) then i'm signing up @ Rockingham.

Nick, most tunes are transparent to the dealers - not always overwritten at service time, unless there are software updates due for your engine control unit... If you have a good relationship with your dealer, explain that you have a remap applied and that you don't need any software updated to the ECU - unless there are any issues that are applicable of course!
In most cases, remaps will be downloaded again FOC following any ECU downloads by the dealers
In terms of warranty, LR state that any defects caused by 'unapproved accessories' will not be covered by warranty - I suspect they'd have a hard time proving that a remap was the cause of any engine related problems
The above might seem a bit vague but I can only speak for my position, Turbochip, JE etc. may have slightly different terms
