Not being a lover of Apple's media player I wonder what ways there are of using my huge collection of mp3 CD's - as my headunit only plays normal CD's. Do later ones play mp3 discs or can I use a player through the aux port ?? D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

only the hi-line i.c.e. plays mp3's
use the aux-in socket (or fit one) and have the freedom to use a non-apple product....much cheaper than the official ipod kit 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Is interesting, cause also my dealer thought that the HI ICE player do not play the MP3... I test it on my own some week ago (i'm courious and I see that most of the dealers said was untrue) and it work...

my base head unit plays mp3 discs no problem. i think it depends on what software you use to burn.
i am however on head unit no2 as the original only worked intermitently from day 1. dealer tried to initially fob me off with the "you can only use genuine cd's sir". Gone.......but not forgotten

I use nero it seems to be very good D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.
