Best £50 ever spent!

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of taking my Disco 3 to one of Cannock Chase 4x4 event. I had 3 full hours being guided round such a beautiful setting by Roger the Ranger (great job).
Wow such a great day out, the vehicle was awesome keeping up with the Defenders. Can't wait for the March Thumbs Up

Well there was a military spec Defender 90 struggling to keep up with me on the large inclines! The driver was well impressed. Shocked

You should check out your local LR club, I would imagine they would do similar at a fraction of the price, ours is normally a tenner a car for a day out Thumbs Up

I think I went around Cannock Chase with that guy a few years ago. He had done a deal with the Forestry people so he could go off the byways. Good bloke.
cheers

We had a lad on the Kielder Safari who had been on the last event at Cannock Chase and he said it was excellent, we charge £55.00 for our events in Kielder but the proceeds go to The Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team Thumbs Up

You can indeed go out with your local LR club or find green lanes (free) but nowt wrong with paying a bit more for being escorted around some new areas without having to plan or navigate.

There is an event on here on 1st March so happy to link up with anyone interested, Sweatysock
