audio system cut out

Hi all

I have a disco III and i after i took it to the sprayer for a hood paint job, the audio equipment stopped workinh snd the clock in the instrumet had --:-- on it.
There seems to be no communication between the audio system and the rest of the car. I checked all the fuses and found no bad ones.

Any suggestions please

Thanks
