Help please ....... need to look at change of car!
I have a real problem at the moment and need some guidance from my esteemed peers at this forum
I am looking at changing the car and want to know if I should be looking at RRS (is there enough space in back of it for a (soon to be) big german shepherd ..... or is there really no space for livestock in the boot?
If not an RRS, is there a view yet as to just how economical the V8 D3 can be when driven sensibly (I can do that sometimes!!!!) ...... are we really lookng at only 12 to 15 MPG ?
Thanks for any views!D3 05 SE (old one)
RRS 08 SE (new one)

what about your signature? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
Not sure I understand this...... Do you need to change the D3?? Why not get another TDV6???
The RRS boot is fit for a lap-dog only (unless you want to subject the GSD to a prison cell)
The V8 D3 (or any Solihull V8 pertol) will realistically remain well below 20mpg unless you are constantly driving like Granpa at 50mph. Round town, 12 - 15mpg is a pragmatic view.
Once again I must ask, why not get another TDV6

Also the MY starting end of this month... no more UK petrol V8 D3's from what I hear
No need for em... TDV6 is a cracker especially once the miles have piled on... goes damn fine and averages 28MPG

Ah... bless the economies of a manual 'box then
Although, given the choice again, would pick an auto for sure.
