Warning indicators on a 2009 D3 HSE. |
|
I have just become the proud owner of a 2009 D3 TDV6 HSE
However, on the way home we went through torrential rain on the M25, then on the M4 the engine went into limp mode and the following lights came on:
Suspension system
Brake systems
Dynamic stability control
We managed to limp at 20mph for two miles on the hard shoulder, came off the motorway, turned the engine off for ten minutes and on start up all the lights were out and we managed to get home okay.
Then this morning when I went to move it on the drive, I noticed that the yellow/orange engine light stayed on (not the one with the exclamation mark).
The book says "Reduced Engine Performance".
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You need to get the fault codes read. EML on is usually egr valve. Codes will tell you which one. Bodsys Brake Bible
