2013 LR4 3.0 SDV6 Commercial Auto Santorini Black

RRS seats in a D4

Afternoon all,

I have a friend who has recently bought a 2012 Disco 4 commercial with non electric cloth seats and has asked me if he could fit RRS electric leather seats in it? Only the front ones you understand.

Does anybody know if this is possible?

Seem to remeber this has been done before, not sure re electrics though.

The earlier model RRS's seats had quite a few people moaning about comfort though,mine took months before getting right, then the battery was disconnected so had to start again. D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Yes it is possible. My way means replacing the feeds to the motors with new wiring and the seats did not have electric bolsters fitted but 8 way adjustment

Runs off cig lighter. There is probably a more "factory" solution Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:
"What is the first rule when overlanding?"

I would Reply:

2009 Discovery 3 TDV6 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

I got 2010 RRS seats(LH drive) in my09 GS, so surely it would work, more details in my gallery. A few mods... and keeping it all running...Faultmate MSV2

If it's just the leather you were after you could always get the seats and door cards covered like this one?

D3 images are the best ones but D4 shown also
