Side Steps or Tubes
Got a bit of a dilemma !
Considering fitting of side steps to my new D4 however I have seen a car in the showroom with stainless steel protection tubes.
Looks are most definitely not everything as I want to get a bit of protection from door dings and other nasties and wondered if the steps (which stick out a bit) actually help with this problem aside from the fact it makes getting in and out a bit easier.
Does anyone have some words of wisdom..?

Wish I had gone for the sliders or tubes options instead of the steps.. But if i said that to Mrs. Crost I would be killed slowly..... Mark

Sliders everytime .... proper protection but don't spoil the look of the car.
Easy to fit, although not quite as easy as the company would have you believe Nick

Tubes or sliders not steps but I do like my steps but would change them for some of the above.
Steps for me, 3 discos and all had steps, had same set in last 2. Practical for the the family and with my little mod they don't detract from the look of your car

Steps for me, bit slowly changing my mind, the problems i find is if you have no mud flaps(i take them off for the winter) a lot of small stones get left on the top of the step in the winter and i also find that snow get chucked up underneath the step and when you put the car in the garage it all falls of on the floor, so i now get the hose out and wash it off before i put it away.2015 D4 HSE LUX Kaikoura Stone(sold)

Steps no longer an option
If you have wade sensors
Never thought I'd need them on a A Road or the M25

They are the original aluminium ones that I vinyl wrapped, relatively simple, I'd never done it before, bit more info here
